Initially supported by the
European Programme Leonardo da Vinci, MAC-SSIIM offers a real
pan European network of resources focused on I-IPR, Informal Intellectual
Property Rights, and on Intellectual Capital/Knowledge Protection.
MAC stands for Multi
Actors Cooperation and includes as well: SMEs, bigger companies,
Individuals, Universities, Training centers, Research centers, Professional
bodies, Public and social development representatives, trade-unions, Relay
centers, ....
SSIIM stands for Sustainable
SMEs through Informal IPR Management training.
MAC-SSIIM has been set
up by wider Networks such as MAC-Team . Both
networks are built on a model of Networks of Networks.
MAC-SSIIM Mission
The overall aim of the MAC-SSIIM
project is to make a contribution to the development of knowledge-based economy
in Europe by assessing SME managers and other decision-makers in building a
fertile environment for knowledge-based entrepreneurship and new business
formation:
-
To raise awareness of
the significance of IP management,
-
To develop a proactive IP
management training tool for SME and network development,
-
To enable learning through
case examples of good practices in IP management,
-
To disseminate good
practices in the management of Intellectual Property.
MAC-SSIIM is originally
built on a project supported by the European
Commission. The
Leonardo da Vinci Programme has selected a core team out of the MAC-Team
network supported as well by other key networks to set up a
pilot project made of European Enterprises, Universities , Professional bodies, National
Organizations & end-users dealing with (Informal) Intellectual
Property management.
All MAC-SSIIM
partners contact details are given in the Members
section.
About 10 major outputs and results
are directly expected from this project. These outputs and results include
important training packages flexible and adaptable to various types and groups
of end-users.
Thanks to the MAC-SSIIM
training programme to be implemented and tested in this project, we propose to
offer SMEs a systemic innovation, in the new knowledge-intensive economy: a
fundamental understanding of the necessity to venture beyond technological
innovation approaches to encompass the plurality of business strategies and
functional characteristic across the industrial landscape.
Short presentation on
key steps and schedule is available in the MAC-SSIIM
schedule section.

Call for tender for slides and content development on innovation module based on
DVD developments and contents
AESBUC has been developing
training module content on Key Theme Innovation focused on its area of
expertise on Agro-food sector. Reviewing the complete set of Key themes training
modules jointly with the review of the 2 DVDs, it has been assessed that the
fine specialisation/focus of the AESBUC Innovation module on agro-food sector
would need a complementary set of slides and content development to be fully in
line with the DVD modules related to global innovation management approach of
SMEs and not only in connection with agro-food sector.
The supplier should provide
a training manual plus a set of slides able to cover the global approach of
innovation management especially at SME level which fits the content of the DVD
materials linked to KT 3 and to valorise it.
In particular,
the Supplier should be able to tackle the topic under a double approach of the
innovation management at SME level depending on the level of
development/maturity under which the SME is: 1°) the product innovation
management (as a starting point); and 2°) the management of a series of product
innovation inside a company (such as an innovation portfolio approach).
